The story of Facel Vega:

After the Second World War, Jean Daninos diversified Facel Vega by creating a luxury bodywork department.

In 1956 the FV3 was presented.

Initially called FV3, the model evolved in 1957 with a wider and slightly longer body. The engine displacement is increased to 253 hp.

The GT FV3B model was born.

Produced in only 92 units, the FV3B is a rare luxury car model.

Facel Vega FV3B coupé 1958 SOLD

The car presented belonged to the Dominican diplomat Porfirio Rubirosa, passionate about polo and motor racing. Famous for his dedication within the personal guard of the dictator Trujillo, Rubirosa acquired this car on May 20, 1958.

This FV3B has been restored “body-off”.

It has an original drum brake system that has been redesigned and a suspension that conforms to the original specifications.

Its lighting has also been revised to comply with regulations while respecting the original specifications.

The beige interior upholstery and the carpets have been renovated.

The paint has been completely redone, allowing you to enjoy a very good quality car.

This Facel Vega FV3B has a signed identification certificate from the brand, accompanied by its descriptive notice and a file describing the operations carried out during the restoration by a recognized French professional.
