As with the previous 308 GTB and 308 GTBi, there is a targa version with a sunroof, called the 308 GTS Quattrovalvole.

This version is easily identifiable by the black part of the removable roof and by the satin black slatted shutters which cover the glass of the rear quarter panels. Both QV models are also recognizable by the new radiator grille and bumper, the louvered air outlet on the front bonnet and the new mirrors with a varnished badge on the shell. The term Quattrovalvole refers to the engine’s four valves per cylinder head, allowing it to develop more power than the previous model.
